Central Market wanted a fun, engaging way to show off their variety of high quality chocolates for their yearly Chocolate Festival in stores. Because the event takes place every year around Valentine's Day, the client specifically asked that the designs avoid anything relating to the holiday.
The concept was to feature these chocolates as the "works of art" they truly are. Chocolates were transformed into the likes of modern art pieces by Wassily Kandinsky, Jackson Pollock, Andy Warhol, and Piet Mondrian.
These posters and banners were hung in stores for the weeks prior to and throughout the Chocolate Festival. Stores hosted special wine and chocolate "Gallery Opening Nights" to further the engagement with shoppers.
